Dr. Gaik Tin Quah (Tin), Medical Oncologist
Dr. Gaik Tin Quah (known as Tin) originally hails from Malaysia. Tin completed medical training at the University of Newcastle and junior pre-vocational training in the Hunter New England Area Health Network. She performed her oncology training at the Calvary Mater Hospital in Newcastle.
Tin is a committed researcher with previous extensive experience in clinical trials and an ongoing active involvement in various clinical trials. Tin has contributed as a research Fellow at Westmead Hospital and at the Calvary Mater in Newcastle. She has presented her research work at local and international conferences, including contributing to research publications. Tin is also an affiliated researcher at the Hunter Medical Research Institute (HMRI) and a Conjoint Lecturer at the University of Newcastle.
Tin’s areas of interest are in the fields of breast, gastrointestinal, head and neck, and gynae oncology.
